How Does It Work?

Am I a Candidate?
Anyone can benefit from EMSculpt® procedure. At Dr. Ron Soltero Plastic Surgery we offer EMSculpt® as an enhancement to all the Plastic Surgery procedures we provide.
What is the Treatment Time?
Patients start with a 4 treatment package, each treatment lasts 30 minutes.
Is there any Downtime? Any Pre/Post treatment preparation?
EMSculpt® is non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post treatment preparation. If you have any metal in your body, like an IUD, you need to let us know. Patients with metal in their body are not good candidates for EMSculpt®.
I had a Tummy Tuck, or Liposuction or Mommy Makeover, When Can I Start EM Sculpt?
Dr. Soltero will closely monitor your post-op recovery and suggest when is the optimal time for you to get EMSculpt® to enhance the work you had done. Usually post-op patients can start with EMSculpt® anywhere from 14 weeks on after surgery.
What Does It Feel Like?
EMSculpt® procedure feels like an intensive workout. Many people relax during the treatment. You may resume daily activities immediately after the treatment.
Does it Really Work?
Patients results may vary. EMSculpt® has been clinically tested for safety and efficacy through several clinical studies.
How Fast Will I See Results?
You begin to feel tangible results right after the treatment. Positive results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following the treatments.
